CHED grants Certificate of Program Compliance to 24 programs of CSU Carig Campus

The Commission on Higher Education recently granted Certificate of Program Compliance to 24 programs offered in CSU Carig Campus. An assessment team from CHED came to evaluate the programs and monitor its compliance to Policies, Standards and Guideline set by CHED.

The 24 programs include: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, Bachelor of Science inChemistry, Bachelor of Science in n Physics, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology major in Animation and Game Development, Bachelor of Physical Education, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, Bachelor of Arts in English, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Commercial Communication, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, and Bachelor of Public Administration.

It should be noted that some programs have been identified with deficiencies; however, after the programs have complied with those deficiencies, the Commission finally released the Certificate of Program Compliance.

The team of evaluators, headed by Dr. Sofia Taguibao, was welcomed by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office.

The CHED visit was made possible through the concerted efforts of the QAA office under the management of its Coordinator, Dr. Theresa Dimalanta and all the college deans in the campus.
